From it’s creation by Li over 4 years ago, Li FieldView has been used across numerous projects both in the UK and Europe to deliver absolute consistency. It ensures that each Engineer who participates in a project delivers the same format of data for each task performed in a highly accurate and timely way – regardless of their geography or language.

The system allows any Engineer to capture any information about any asset or task at any time. The basis of the system is that it supports a near limitless set of data types. This can be tailored on a project by project basis to ensure that data collected complies with any requirement a customer may have.

Li FieldView caters for simple project needs such as serial number capture and customer sign off, through to complex audits where thousands of pieces of information are pre populated into the system. Despite the flexibility and power of the Li FieldView system, the key to its success lies in the simplicity of the Application that exists on each Engineer’s PDA. The system works by utilising a very simple data collection “Wizard” that takes the engineer through each step required ensuring that data that must be collected can never be missed. This approach means that the system effectively controls the compliance of each Engineer’s activity, leaving nothing to chance and in turn driving very high levels of consistency in terms of the service provided.
